Compact band filter KF
Cost effective belt filter for filtration of coolants, oils and process fluids. The compact band filter is a small filter that does not compromise on quality.
FILCO’s Compact Band Filter KF is an economical and reliable solution for filtering coolants, oils, and other process fluids. The belt filter is designed with a strong focus on compact construction without compromising filtration quality or functionality.
The compact band filters are manufactured in three sizes. The filter can handle capacities of up to 150 litres per minute and uses filter paper available in different qualities, depending on the specific application and required filtration level.
The filter can be used either as a standalone unit or integrated into larger filtration systems. The filter roll can be mounted either on top of the filter (as shown in the images below) or at the rear of the filter, allowing for a reduced overall height where space is limited.
The compact band filter is equipped with a simple and reliable control cabinet that exclusively controls the gear motor via an IFM sensor. The sensor is activated by liquid contact and automatically forwards the filter paper when the filter cake becomes dense enough to reduce flow. This ensures a stable and efficient filtration process without the need for manual intervention.
The filter is fitted with a 1½” threaded inlet at the top as well as an inlet distribution plate, which ensures even and gentle distribution of the liquid. This prevents damage to the filter cake when new liquid is led onto the filter surface.
Like most FILCO products, the Compact Band Filter KF is manufactured in stainless steel and is suitable for filtering process fluids, emulsions, and oils containing solid particles and chips. The design is simple, robust, and virtually maintenance-free, and the filter is easy to install on existing systems.

Cost-Effective Solution
The compact band filter is an attractive, cost-efficient solution for effective filtration of smaller liquid volumes. The simple control cabinet and IFM sensor ensure automatic advancement of the filter paper, providing stable operation and low operating costs.
Automatic Level Control
The level sensor detects when the filter cake restricts liquid flow and automatically activates the forwarding of the filter paper to maintain consistent and efficient filtration.
Overflow Protection
In the event of overflow, the integrated bypass channel directs the liquid through the filter, preventing spillage and unwanted overflow.
Compact Design
The compact construction makes the filter ideal for mobile solutions or installations where space is limited.
