How does a FILCO central system actually work?
We flush the dirty surface of the machine tank and ensure that there is constant circulation in the tank. The surface fluid from the machine tank is led into the machine connection’s return pump station and pumped via the piping back to the central system.
At the central system, the fluid is first led down over a magnetic separator, which filters out the magnetic particles. The fluid is then led through a band filter, which filters out other sludge and particles. The fluid is then led into the tank, which is equipped with a special labyrinth system. This gives the fluid the necessary resting time, which allows leak oils to naturally come to the surface.
A suction head is placed in the tank, which sucks up fluid with leak oils. These are led directly into the oil separator, which gently separates oil and fluid. The oil is separated into a separate container and the clean fluid is returned to the tank and can now be pumped back out to the machines.
In this way, we have a circuit that is constantly running and where the fluid is constantly filtered. This significantly reduces operating costs and extends the lifespan of the tools. Furthermore, a centralised system provides a better indoor environment and as the fluid does not need to be changed so often, the environmental impact is reduced.
