Our oil skimmers / belt skimmers produced in Denmark are specially designed for continuous surface skimming of process fluids.
This oil skimmer / belt skimmer is used to remove small amounts of vane and leakage oils from coolant as well as surface oils from washing systems and degreasing baths.
The skimmers are constructed from stainless steel and are designed to minimise space requirements. They use a special belt to skim the surface of various oils. The rotating belt transports the oil from the fluid surface up to the oil skimmer / belt skimmer where it is scraped off.
FILCO offers 2 different skimmers:
The belt skimmer BS-60-0 is a compact skimmer that does not require much space. The oil is scraped off and must be collected externally.
The other type of belt skimmer BS-60-B is slightly larger, but has an integrated oil collection container. In the container there is a sight glass for visual control of the collected oil.
